There are lots of shoe storage cabinets on the market these days and it’s difficult to know where to start. Some cabinets match a wider range of bedroom furniture and some are stand-alone units, for a hallway perhaps? Then there is the issue of price. Self-assembly units usually offer good value for money but don’t always last long. Solid wood units are better, but can be expensive – so sometimes it’s just down to your budget.
I’m looking here at solid wood units because, to my mind, they offer better value over the long run. I’ll cover units under £100 another time because there’s much more choice and it will take time to pick out some of the best. For now let’s look at units on offer for between £200 – £400.
